The CTS-8210 is an 8mm tape drive that stores 2.3 GB of data on a singletape cartridge. The CTS-8210 comes ready to plug and play on any Sunsystem.The CTS-8210 has a configurable SCSI interface that allows it to connectto a wide variety of computers and workstations. It is compatible withthe SCSI tape driver in SunOS 4.1. It works perfectly with all UNIXstorage commands (e.g., tar, dump, cpio, and dd).A unique LED display allows the realtime viewing of remaining tapecapacity in megabytes, the amount of ECC usage, and other tape movementinformation.
